Midwest Aikido Bridge Seminar

The 2020 Midwest Bridge Seminar will be held on March 20-22nd, 2020. Many of us will be heading up to the Bridge Seminar at the Milwaukee Shobukan again this year. This year will boast an additional 3 hours of classes for a total of 18 hours of instruction!

The instructor line up for this year includes:

  • Hiroshi Ikeda Shihan, 7 Dan
  • Mary Heiny Sensei, 7 Dan,
  • Lisa Tomoleoni Sensei, 6 Dan,

along with supporting instructors:

  • Andrew Vitale Sensei, 4 Dan,
  • John Gralton Sensei, 3 Dan,
  • Cat Strada Sensei, 3 Dan

Third Friday Practice

All Aikido friends are invited to join us each third Friday at 6:30 till around 8:00 pm, for our monthly special practice.

And then the festivities will begin.

We will enjoy getting together around a potluck of beverages, dinner, and desserts, after class. So, it would be great if you are able to bring a dish or some beverage.

If you’ve been wondering about aikido or Chicago Aikikai, this would be a great chance to meet us, please drop in!

Come early, train hard, stay late! Bring a friend!

Driving

Free parking is available along the North and South bound streets, and (weekends and after 4:30 PM on schooldays) in the diagonal spots behind Golder Prep.

Public Transportation

The dojo is located near the Chicago & Greenview stop for the Westbound #66 CTA bus, and the Chicago & Bishop stop for the Eastbound #66 bus.
It is also an 11 minute walk from the Chicago Avenue CTA Blue Line station.
