SEMINARS AT CHICAGO AIKIKAI

To ensure continuous learning, Chicago Aikikai regularly invites top Aikido instructors from across the United States to teach at our dojo. Similarly, Chicago Aikikai instructors are regularly invited to teach seminars at other Aikido dojos. Seminars offer a unique opportunity to gain new perspective on Aikido, making them invaluable to the training process.

The New Beginnings Seminar will be the last seminar to be held at the Lincoln Avenue dojo.

Friday, November 28
3pm to 5pm Aikido Class with Kevin Choate Sensei
6pm to 8pm Aikido Class with Mitsugi Saotome Shihan

Saturday, November 29
10am to 3pm Aikido Classes with Mitsugi Saotome Shihan
7:00 pm Dinner at Black Rock pub
After Saturday Class and before dinner (optional): Dojo breakdown begins

Sunday, November 30
Complete Dojo breakdown and pack onto truck.

The seminar fee of $100 includes all classes and dinner on Saturday night. Preregistration is required.

Visiting aikidoka are welcome to stay at the dojo at no charge (refundable key deposit required). Nearby hotel options include:
